CHINESE FEAST WEEKENDER
To celebrate Chinese New Year 2018 ‘Year Of The Dog’, Black Dog Ballroom and Meat Lust have created an exclusive Chinese feast menu.
Available from Thursday 15th February to Sunday 18th February across all Black Dog restaurants; including Black Dog Ballroom Northern Quarter and New Wakefield Street and Dog Bowl, the bespoke menu fuses together scrumptious Asian flavours.
After the roaring success of last year’s ‘Sauce and the City’ tour of Manchester with TV culinary star Adam Richman, Meat Lust’s favourite sauces are back taking over all Black Dog kitchens.
This Chinese New Year weekender will see four bespoke dishes with flavoursome punchy sauces – featuring Meat Lust Chinese BBQ, Meat Lust BBQ Mop, Meat Lust Ghost Chilli and Meat Lust Green Sweet Chilli.
The special menu swerves right into the Year of the Dog with the hot dog Shitake and Ginger stir fry, topped off with coriander and Meat Lust BBQ Mop, accompanied with an Asian coleslaw and Green Chilli Mayo. It also offers a succulent tender marinated Glazed Pork Char Siu Burger with fried crispy onion and beansprouts, served either with Meat Lust Chinese BBQ, Meat Lust BBQ Mop or Meat Lust Ghost Chilli. Adding a veggie option on their Asian twist menu is the crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu Salad, tossed in Meat Lust Chinese BBQ flavour and sesame dressing.
For those who do not fear all things spiced, you will be pleased to know that the last addition to the menu is the fiery blast Shrimp Bomb. Served with the Meat Lust Ghost Chilli Mayo which will challenge your tongue under the hot Bhut Jolokia chilli.
The Chinese feast weekender will culminate on Manchester Dragon Parade day with a closing party at Dog Bowl, open all day long to the public and their four-legged friends.
