MCRHookup to Host Manchester’s First #PineappleHunt
MCRhookup are hosting a weeklong #PineappleHunt where Mancunians can win prizes by following the clues on social media…
With the clocks springing forward to British Summer Time and hot weather on the horizon (fingers crossed) MCRhookup thought why not start getting excited and upbeat about some of Manchester’s more exotic cocktail offerings?
Starting Monday 27th March, the guys at MCRhookup will be out and about hiding #MrChunkz the golden pineapple each day in Manchester city centre, dropping hints, clues and riddles on social media. The reward for the first folk to find the pineapple is FREE COCKTAILS in some of the city’s tropical hotspots…they’ve teamed up with top cocktail curators at Neighbourhood, Be At One, The Liars Club, Revolucion de Cuba & Menagerie to give Manchester some seriously cool prizes.
You may have noticed an influx of pineapples around Manchester, they’re in restaurants’ branding, bars’ names, sitting on drinks menus proud as pineapple punch and presumably all over interior designers’ mood boards. The pineapple has long been synonymous with wealth and hospitality and long may that continue…they’re flippin’ delicious!
Pineapples may have become more readily available since Chris Coloumbus started fetching them back from South America but it’s well known that anything gold is good and #MrChunkz is worth his weight in cocktails. As with any exploration it’s all about getting there first, to the victor go the spoils, after all pineapples don’t grow on trees you know…we think it’s plants…anyway that’s by the by. Golden pineapples are definately worth running out of the office to find.
Everybody loves a cocktail or three and MCRhookup‘s have a not so secret ingredient, they’re on the house! Prizes and clues will be announced across MCRhookup’s social media pages so #GetHooked @mcrhookup to beat the gold rush.
Cocktail connoisseurs remember… What do pineapples mean?!… Prizes!!
Launching on Monday 27th March 2017, the Manchester #PineappleHunt will run every day until the golden pineapple juice runs dry.
